We are pleased to invite contributors to this year’s Carers Conference who would like to deliver a talk or a workshop to unpaid carers and professionals working with carers.

We are looking for:

• 15-minute presentation to a full audience followed by Q&A session
• 45-minute interactive workshop in a breakout group

We are seeking contributions that will benefit both unpaid carers and professionals, be informative and inspiring.

We are looking for a range of themes of key importance to carers, for example (but not exhaustive to):

• Health, social care and well-being;
• Case studies and lived experience of unpaid carers;
• Improving the lives of people with dementia and carers;
• Combining work and care (how can we support people to manage their working and caring lives, contributing to economic and social sustainability?);
• Technology in care and support (how can new technologies support the delivery of care, transform the lives of individuals and families and drive economic growth?);
• Life after caring.

If the talk/presentation you would like to share with attendees at the Carers Conference doesn’t fit any of the themes above we are open to innovative projects and ideas.

Deadline for submissions: Friday 10th  August 2018

Delegates will come from a range of health and social care sectors including unpaid carers, health and social care providers, professional staff, researchers and volunteers and everyone are welcome to submit a proposal.
